OASIS’ Brother 2 Brother will host kickoff event on Sept. 17

Brother 2 Brother, a student-focused group offered through the Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services, is holding a fall semester kickoff event at 5 p.m. Sept. 17. The event, which is open to all students, faculty and staff, will be offered via Zoom.

The mission of the Brother 2 Brother is to build a community of support focused on enhancing the development of collegiate men of color. The group aims to create a support network that increases retention and success.

During the event Brother 2 Brother will be introduced, and leaders will explain what it is and where they are striving for it to go.

In addition to goals and vision, attendees will play a competitive version of “pass the aux” with prizes for the winners. The meeting will close with an opportunity to watch NBA games (via Zoom) for anyone willing to stay.
