
NUtech Ventures is hosting its annual Innovator Celebration on Monday, Nov. 2, to recognize Nebraska inventors who are developing and commercializing cutting-edge research. The celebration features two events, a virtual keynote and a virtual awards ceremony, which are open to all faculty, staff and students.
The virtual keynote features leaders at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Andre Iancu and Molly Kocialski, who will discuss the importance of university innovation, its impact on U.S. patents and other priorities for the USPTO. The keynote is 10-11 am CST on Monday, Nov. 2.

The virtual awards ceremony will announce the 2020 Innovator Award winners and honor all university personnel who are inventors in issued patents in FY 2020. The ceremony includes remarks from Chancellor Ronnie Green, Vice Chancellor Bob Wilhelm and NUtech Ventures Executive Director Brad Roth. The awards ceremony is 3:30-4:15 pm CST on Monday, Nov. 2.
