Nebraska has multiple online programs that earned a high ranking in the U.S. News & World Report 2021 including:

  • No. 17 in Best Online MBA Programs
  • No. 11 in Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans
  • No. 21 in Best Online Master's in Engineering Program
  • No. 83 in Best Online Master's in Education Programs
  • No. 12 in Best Online Master's in Educational Administration Programs
  • No. 15 in Best Online Master's in Curriculum and Instruction Programs
For the College of Business' online MBA program otherwise known as MBA@Nebraska, this ranking has increased by nine spots in the last two years and follows the recent No. 13 placement by The Princeton Review® for 2021. Additionally, Poets&Quants ranked the MBA@Nebraska No. 9 in 2020.

The top ranking for the College of Engineering's online Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program is also complemented by its recent award from the prestigious American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM). Earlier this month, ASEM recognized the Nebraska MEM program as one of eight to achieve high quality programming and content. ASEM also recognized the exemplary program delivery, administrative policies, and student services that meet and exceed rigorous standards. This certification places the MEM in the top tier of graduate engineering management programs nationally.

Nebraska online education programs continue to receive national notoriety, reflecting the top ranking results from the U.S. News & World Report 2020 and years prior. U.S. News & World Report ranks programs based on five key indicators: engagement, expert opinion, faculty credential and training, student excellence, and student services and technologies.
