The Methodology and Evaluation Research Core Facility (MERC), a division of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Research Consortium (SBSRC), is hiring several graduate interns to work 10-40 hours/week on evaluation and/or social and behavioral science research related tasks.
Job duties may include:
- Helping design data collection instruments
- Conducting interviews and/or focus groups
- Data management and cleaning
- Qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis
- Summarizing results
- Report writing
Experience synthesizing and writing about data and descriptive statistics, proficiency with Word and Excel, and a statistical or coding software package (e.g., SPSS, Stata, MAXQDA) is preferred.
Applicants must be a graduate student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Partial summer positions may be possible.
