The Methodology and Evaluation Research Core Facility (MERC), a division of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Research Consortium (SBSRC), is hiring several graduate interns to work 10-40 hours/week on evaluation and/or social and behavioral science research related tasks.

Job duties may include:

  • Helping design data collection instruments
  • Conducting interviews and/or focus groups
  • Data management and cleaning
  • Qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis
  • Summarizing results
  • Report writing
Must have strong communication skills, and be able to work independently. At least two positions will be primarily qualitative work.

Experience synthesizing and writing about data and descriptive statistics, proficiency with Word and Excel, and a statistical or coding software package (e.g., SPSS, Stata, MAXQDA) is preferred.

Applicants must be a graduate student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Partial summer positions may be possible.
