The Office of Graduate Studies will host the Orientation for New Teaching Assistants on August 17, 2021 in the City Campus Union.
This in-person event will run from 8 a.m. to 12:30 or 1 p.m. It will feature teaching resources and information as well as three sessions on:
- grading and assessment
- designing lessons or classroom activities
- understanding student needs and building rapport
Don't miss this great opportunity to prepare to be a TA and meet other new TAs.
All registered participants will also provided access to a Canvas page with teaching resources and materials. Register to participate by August 10.
