Just in time for the Fall Career Fair, this workshop will cover one of the most important—and often overlooked—elements of the job search: networking. Research shows that the majority of jobs are filled through networking and referrals, so learning how to utilize your professional support community is vital when thinking about your next career move.
During this session, you will learn how to strategically build a network that includes regional, national, and digital connections. We will discuss the different types of individuals you should include in your professional network and tips for developing those relationships. You’ll also be able to identify what a personal “brand” is and how you can leverage yours to promote your future success.
