The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking faculty, postdocs, and advanced graduate students from any discipline to serve on the 2022-23 Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experiences (UCARE) selection committee.

Selection committee volunteers support undergraduate research at the university while adding this enriching professional development experience to the university service section of their curriculum vitae.

Each year, committee members review research project proposals from undergraduate students in all disciplines, including sciences, humanities, business, and the arts. Business, fine and performing arts and humanities readers are especially needed.

Committee volunteers will be assigned no more than 30 applications in your field of expertise (or a closely related field) and will be provided with review training materials.

Between February 23 to March 11, reviewers will use University of Nebraska-Lincoln single sign-on to access the NURamp proposal system to read and evaluate proposals at the times most convenient for you. Most reviewers average about 5 or fewer hours to complete the evaluation process.

Please sign up at https://go.unl.edu/ucareevaluator by Friday, Feb. 18, 2022 to review applications. For more information, please contact Sonya Irons, Director of Undergraduate Research, at ucare@unl.edu.
