Nominations requested for Graduate Council

Each spring, two members of the graduate faculty are elected to the Graduate Council to serve four-year terms of office starting in the following fall semester. Graduate Studies currently seeks members from the humanities and professional education.

The Office of Graduate Studies seeks nominations for service on the UNL Graduate Council beginning August 2022. The Graduate Council serves as the administrative body for Graduate Studies and as an advisory body to the Dean for Graduate Studies.

Each spring, two members of the graduate faculty are elected to the Graduate Council to serve four-year terms of office. We are currently seeking nominations in the following areas:

  • Humanities: Classics, Communication Studies, English, Modern Languages and Literatures, Philosophy, and the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
  • Professional Education: Departments of Educational Administration, Educational Psychology, Special Education and Communication Disorders, and Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education.
