Dec. 2023 Doctoral Graduation Deadlines

November 17:

  • Last day to submit the Application for Final Oral Examination form, and PDF Rough Draft Dissertation / Document for formatting review.

December 1:
  • Last day to hold Final Oral Examination
  • Final dissertation/document formatting review - after successful completion of your final oral examination
  • Upload final dissertation/document to ProQuest (after approval is given)
  • Pay doctoral deposit fee - $25
  • Submit your signed Report of Completion form and Abstract to the Doctoral Steps to Degree Completion page

November 9:
Last day to submit the Final Examination Report Form

November 16:
Final day to email Rough Draft of Thesis to Masters Programs Coordinator. If only written comprehensive examination is required (major and/or minor), advisor must notify the Master's Programs Coordinator of the results

November 30:
Last day to hold Final Oral Examination

December 1:

  • Final date to Resolve Incomplete grades, submit the final thesis as a PDF to the Masters Program Coordinator and wait for approval prior to uploading it to Digital Commons
  • Upload to UNL Digital Commons
  • Receive a confirmation email from UNL Digital Commons of successful thesis upload and pay final thesis processing fees of $25 (required) in MyRed (To-do list).
