What does it take to turn an idea into something real and lead it forward with purpose? On Thursday, April 30, a select group of students will explore exactly that at From Idea to Reality in 90 Minutes: Innovation & Leadership Experience, hosted at the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center.
This two-hour, high-energy evening brings together learning and connection in a hands-on format. Students will first dive into a practical session on transforming ideas into tangible business or social projects using the Business Model Canvas—breaking down complex concepts into clear, actionable steps. The experience then continues with a dynamic panel featuring leaders from the Lincoln community, offering real-world insights on innovation, leadership and navigating professional paths.
Beyond learning, the evening will also serve as a moment of recognition. Selected students will be acknowledged for their leadership and innovation potential—celebrating not just ideas, but the people ready to bring them to life.
