OGS Staff Receives Three University Service Awards

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln presents a Service Award to all regular employees who complete intervals of five calendar years of service. The Office of Graduate Studies is proud to announce and congratulate three of its hardworking members: Dr. Eva Bachman, Gail Hackwith, and Casey Coleman.

Dr. Eva Bachman was awarded a Service Award for completing 35 years of service to the university. Her current role as Academic Success Coordinator and Associate Registrar exemplifies her specialized ability in building relationships, adapting to new challenges, and maintaining positive experiences for graduate students.

Gail Hackwith was awarded a Service Award for completing 20 years of service to the university. Her current role as Student Services Specialist is pivotal to the operations within the Office of Graduate Studies. Gail's sharp acuity in organization, university knowledge, dedication to students, and supportive outlook has set a standard for the last two decades.

Casey Coleman was awarded a Service Award for completing 10 years of service to the university. Her current role as Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator has a major impact on both prospective and current students as she expertly organizes and executes operations for the annual Summer Research Program, the Graduate Ambassadors, and many other graduate student initiatives.
