The Graduate Student Travel Award will provide support for student travel to attend and/or present at professional conferences as well as student travel for dissertation/thesis research projects.
The Office of Graduate Studies will grant the reward based on an internal review assessing the necessity of travel, feasibility, planning, and departmental support. Award amounts will be determined per individual application but will not exceed $1,500 in an academic year.
Through a generous donation from the family of Warren and Edith Day, this grant was made possible by the University of Nebraska Foundation. The Graduate Student Travel Award will henceforth replace the award formerly known as the Warren and Edith Day Dissertation Travel Award.
