Academic Services and Enrollment Management (ASEM) is seeking graduate assistants in two areas, data visualization/analysis and database management.
DATA VISUALIZATION/ANALYSIS
The data visualization/analysis position (up to 2 positions available) will assist querying data, managing data, and enrollment management reporting. Specific tasks and job requirements include:
• Support ASEM data analysis in the development of an infrastructure for engagement data gathering and reporting.
• Handling of data from multiple data sources.
• Understanding of databases, SQL and ability to do data design and modeling.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages.
• Understanding of some data analytics theory and methods along with data visualization.
Example projects could include data visualization in Tableau, querying tables, merging data, and data clean-up.

DATABASE MANAGEMENT
The database management position (1 position available) will work closely with the Recruitment Technology team within Academic Services and Enrollment Management. The team is responsible for the Campus Nexus (Talisma) CRM system utilized by Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Studies, New Student Enrollment, the College of Business, etc.
Examples of duties are: building imports, building MS SQL tables, assisting with the maintenance of data integrity, etc.
