On Thursday, April 24th, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Pattie Gonia will be presenting in the Nebraska Union Ballroom.

In their keynote, critically acclaimed environmentalist and drag queen Pattie Gonia will share their unlikely journey to becoming Pattie, define intersectional environmentalism and help you create your personalized action compass using your identities, talents and resources to advocate for people and the planet. Pattie will also help us discover the ways we can be guided by nature in order to move through the work of advocacy and activism. This keynote will be a lively, queer, and interactive opportunity to learn and yes, there will be a drag performance at the end.

On this one special night, Pattie Gonia will appear in person at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to speak during a 30-minute presentation followed by a 30-minute audience Q&A. During the presentation and Q&A, she will dive deeper into her experience as a drag artist who promotes sustainability, and her non-profit called "Outdoorist Oath.

This event is FREE for UNL students, faculty, and staff with an Event Pass. The event will also be open to the public.

ARRIVE EARLY. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis."
