Glow Big Red is the university's annual giving event when students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the Husker community at large come together to raise needed support for scholarships, colleges and programs, student groups and activities, inclusion, wellness, and other important causes.
The Gender and Sexuality Center has two funds available for you to support.
The UNL LGBTQA+ Student Support Fund assists who experience a financial emergency or unanticipated expenses causing short-term financial hardship. This fund is designated to assist LGBTQA+ students and student supporters/those who are allied to the LGBTQA+ community who are not able to resolve their financial difficulty through scholarships, loans, or other Financial Aid awards. Your gift helps to cover unanticipated or unusual expenses like a major car repair, graduation expenses, name changes, or payment to reconnect utilities. The UNL Student Parent Support Fund offers support to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who have taken on the role of parent, guardian, or caregiver while in pursuit of their academic career at UNL.
