To showcase its summer camp programs for the upcoming 2012 camping season, the Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center will be hosting an open house from 1-4 p.m. April 29.

The event is free and open to the public and is a great opportunity for parents to bring their children to see all the activities and programs they can participate in this summer, said Jami Schuler, program director at the Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center.

The 4-H center has dozens of programs for kids ages 5-17, she said.

Activities include: two different ropes courses, fishing, canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, a 25-foot high waterslide and more.

To attend this popular summer camp, youth do not need to be a member of a 4-H Club.

The Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center is located at 21520 West Highway 31, five miles south of I-80 exit #432, next to Schramm Park.
