Biological Systems Engineering Professor Suat Irmak has received the UNL College of Engineering's Research and Creative Activity Award.
The award is presented to individuals for activities associated with investigation or experimentation aimed at the discovery and/or interpretation of facts, as well as the development of creative works or new products.
Irmak is a nationally and internationally recognized researcher/scientist/educator who has made significant contributions to the soil and water resources engineering profession. He is an internationally recognized leader in irrigation engineering, evapotranspiration and surface energy balance measurement and monitoring.
