In seeking to answer the question, "What does Effective Content Teaching for Multilingual Students Look Like?" a collaborative effort between multiple members of the ICMEE team resulted in offering a Workshop at the annual WIDA Conference in Detroit. ICMEE Team participants included: Kara Mitchell Viesca (University of Nebraska Lincoln), Sharolyn Pollard-Durodola (University of Nevada Las Vegas), Christine Leider (Boston University), Diep Nguyen (WIDA), Araceli Lobato (University of Nebraska Lincoln), Cindy Linzell (University of Nebraska Lincoln), Tricia Gray (University of Nebraska Lincoln and Erin Comber (Boston University). As a team, they presented the latest ICMEE based research and learning opportunities related to supporting effective content teaching for multilingual students. Our hopes and path towards a long-term relationship with WIDA was also discussed. For more on the WIDA annual conference, please visit: https://wida.wisc.edu/grow/conferences/annual
