2021 Virtual International Student Graduation Reception
May 7, 2021, 9:30am - 10:00am
Virtual Room: https://go.unl.edu/intl2021

As another year ends at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, we want to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of our international graduates from August and December 2020, and soon-to-be graduates of May 2021. Particularly in the last year of uncertainty, we are so proud to call these students members of our global Husker family who demonstrated great perseverance and grit to finish their degrees.

Join us for this celebration led by Associate Vice Chancellor for Global Affairs Josh Davis. Executive Director of the Nebraska Alumni Association Shelley Zaborowski and other UNL faculty, staff and partners also have special messages for our graduates. A few new alumni will then share their Husker story and what the future holds for them. Finally, the reception will conclude with a special photo montage and recognition of each of our more than 750 international graduates from the last year.

For questions, please contact the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Office of Global Strategies at: globalstrategies@unl.edu

Sam Stacy
Lied Live Online
May 9, 2021, 7:00pm
Lied Center for Performing Arts

Sam is a Lincoln native who recently received national attention after winning a spot on Team Blake on NBC’s The Voice! He was first introduced to music through choir at First Plymouth Church, then got involved in musical theater and taught himself to play guitar at 12 years old. After graduating from Lincoln Southeast High School and starting college, he’d study by day and gig by night, taking a job at a bank after graduating to keep his evenings free for performing. Once he started making more money from music than at the bank, he quit his day job and never looked back. Stacy now lives in Los Angeles and is a full-time musician.

This concert will be presented for virtual and in-person audiences. It is FREE to attend, but a ticket is required. There is also the option to add a donation to support the Lied Center. Lied Live Online events are also available to watch on the Lied Center Facebook page.

Free in-person and virtual reservation tickets are available via phone at (402) 472-4747, or in-person at the Lied Center box office, or at:
