February 20th CARE will be hosting a Traveling Postcards Workshop in our CARE lounge (Louise Pound Hall 211)
Traveling Postcards™ creates a safe space for healing and for witnessing survivor resiliency, as we create postcards to send to survivors. By handmaking the postcards, a tangible gift of solidarity is shared with a survivor and the strength of the art and artist is amplified. Within the Traveling Postcards experience, not only is your voice important but your empathy, solidarity, and resilience plays a central role in the elimination of violence.
Caroline Lovell, the founder of Traveling Postcards™ and the Women's Wisdom Initiative, will be at CARE on Tuesday, February 20 and facilitate two workshops with us. Feel free to choose either session if you wish to attend. All supplies will be provided! Spots are limited, so please sign up below if you're interested.
