UNL SAE

Formula SAE is a design and racing competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers. More than 250 universities worldwide conceive, design and fabricate a Formula-style race car. June 2012 is the first time a major Formula SAE competition will happen in Lincoln, moving from California. A UNL team, including Nebraska Engineering students, is building a vehicle to enter the competition and serving as local hosts.

More than 250 volunteers are needed for the event with 80 teams and 1,000+ participants expected.
