There are just two more days to apply for NewsTrain’s diversity scholarships, which will be awarded to five journalists or students of diverse backgrounds attending the April 4 event at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The deadline is Feb. 19.
The College of Journalism and Mass Communications is hosting the nationally sponsored NewsTrain on April 4, and a Google tools training on the afternoon of Friday, April 3.
NewsTrain is $75, but students can register for free, and the first 20 people get a free AP Stylebook online subscription! NewsTrain also includes two light meals.
