The American Advertising Federation Omaha (AAF Omaha) formerly the Omaha Federation of Advertising will again be offering up to eight academic scholarships to outstanding students in the field of advertising attending the University of Nebraska campuses at Kearney, Lincoln and Omaha and Creighton University for the 2012-2013 school year.
Students seeking to apply must:
* Have completed their first semester of their junior year as an advertising major, marketing major, communication (broadcast, journalism, mass media) major, public relations major or visual communication and design major
* Hold at least a 3.0 grade point average and be currently enrolled in at least 12 credit hours
* Be members of a student advertising club or an American Advertising Federation chapter
* Have attended AAF Omaha’s Meet the Pros educational seminar
* Show great interest in the field of advertising as shown by student ad club involvement, extracurricular activities, work history, internships, etc.

Applications are due to arrive at the AAF Omaha office no later than April 1, 2012. Scholarship winners will be notified by phone and/or mail no later than April 11, 2012.
