Communications Specialist - Lincoln Electric System (Lincoln, NE)

Job Technical Skills – Responsible for strategic communications tailored to key stakeholders using all types of communication channels to ensure attainment of goals and objectives. Develops and executes strategies and messaging for public outreach initiatives, events, programs, corporate announcements construction projects and public engagement. Works directly with all levels of management, external agencies, organizations and consultants to advance employee and consumer understanding and awareness of LES’ vision, mission, goals and strategic priorities. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

> Writes, edits, and coordinates all forms of internal and external corporate communications including newsletters, corporate announcements, publications, talking points, new releases, video libraries, etc.
> Uses project management techniques to plan, coordinate, execute and evaluate communications plans, activities, special events and projects to ensure compliance, effectiveness, maximization of efforts, and achievement of established goals.
> Manages external advertising, video production, and marketing agency relationships to translate desired communications and marketing strategies into deliverables through plans and appropriate media buying.
> Tracks, maintains, and analyzes metrics and survey results for trending, develops recommendations, uses appropriate analytic tools, executes tactics to achieve desired results, and prepares management reports.
> Participates in the development and implementation of company-wide strategic communications, marketing, public relations, media relations and event planning.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
> Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or related field, and
> Four years of progressively responsible experience in area of assignment, or
> An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
