The Nutrition and Activity for Health Program within the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a student intern to coordinate the Whatcha doin? campaign in select Nebraska communities during the 2012/2013 school year. The Whatcha doin? campaign uniquely brings together traditional and social media strategies, peer-to-peer marketing tactics, and health promotion messaging to engage and empower teens to be more active and eat more fruits and veggies.

experience:
The intern must possess qualities needed to establish and/or carry out detailed marketing, evaluation, and communication plans. The intern must be self-driven and able to work independently. Communication and problem solving skills are key qualities needed for this internship. The internship will last from May 2012 – May 2013.

additional information:
Summer: 20-40 hrs/week
Fall/Spring Semester: 20 hrs/week
