January 2020 marked the beginning of a new decade, but with that came events that would shape our lives forever. With uncertainty surrounding the United States and the entire world, it has come to the attention that there is a lack of real and raw conversations with the goal of fostering friendship and community behind it. This is how The Circle came to be.
The Circle will be a weekly, to bi-weekly, Recognized Student Organization (RSO) run by the College of Journalism and Mass Communications (CoJMC). By inviting students from all majors, races, genders and backgrounds, The Circle will be a place for conversation and friendship.
The Circle will hold their first meeting on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Centennial Mall. Students are welcome to stop by or stay the entire hour and participate in socially distanced games and meaningful discussions, eat snacks and enjoy the weather.
