Google News Lab Tools for Journalists, PR & Advertising Pros

Develop a deeper understanding of the world around you and tell stories in whole new ways by using Google News Lab tools to create visualizations, scrape data, deep search and expand your skills as a journalist, PR or advertising pro.
CoJMC alum and SPJ/Google News Lab trainer Mike Reilley will provide hands-on learning with tools such as Google Flourish (graphics), Google Earth, MapChecking.com, Google Dataset Search, Google Public Data Explorer and data scraping with Google Sheets.
We'll use real-life examples and data to build projects and publish them. Participants will receive primers, training videos, exercises and links to examples of how to use these powerful storytelling tools in all facets of communication.
