Five CoJMC majors named Chancellor’s Scholars

Five College of Journalism and Mass Communication majors were named Chancellor’s Scholars on March 26. To be named a Chancellor’s Scholar is the highest academic award the university offers to undergraduate students. These students have earned an A in every undergraduate class.

This distinction is shared by 66 student scholars who will graduate in May. The students and their majors are listed below for your reference.

Rebecca Boyd - Advertising & Public Relations, Psychology

Addisyn Dupler - Advertising and Public Relations

John Grinvalds – Journalism

Andrianna Jacobs – Journalism, Broadcasting, Psychology

Jared Long – Journalism, Political Science

Chancellor’s Scholars will be listed in the May 2021 commencement digital program that will be available May 7 at https://commencement.unl.edu/.

Each scholar will receive a Chancellor’s Scholar certificate with their diploma, a Chancellor’s Scholar pin to wear on the ribbon of their medallion and Chancellor’s Scholars will be asked to stand as group to be recognized at the commencement ceremony.
