Through cooking classes, dance lessons and art demonstrations, this CoJMC summer course will give you the opportunity to learn about the cultures and customs of refugees and immigrants who call Lincoln home.

In ”Passport LNK: Exploring and Engaging Diverse Cultures,” you’ll learn why they came to Lincoln as we study the current events and topical issues surrounding global refugee migration and resettlement. And you’ll study strategies for aspiring communicators, storytellers and researchers who are interested in engaging and informing diverse audiences.

This in-person course, JOMC 291, is taught by CoJMC faculty member Michelle Hassler and is offered to all UNL students for a reduced tuition rate of $116.55 per credit hour. Students must register in MyWorld and MyRed.
