Position: Marketing Intern ? Interactive
This is a part-time, unpaid internship, 5-10 hours per week with perks
that include entrance into professional networking events, hands-on
experience that will rock your resume, and access to marketing
professionals with a combined 40+ years of knowledge to tap.
Position Overview: Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, a
non-profit that works to create positive change for children through
community, is searching for an interactive intern who can link
marketing skills learned in the classroom to the real world (wide
web). Connect with an innovative marketing team as you learn to apply
branding strategy to interactive media.
Professional Qualifications: Web knowledge, promotional writing
experience, at least one year of Marketing/Advertising classes,
familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, and a
good understanding of social media.
Position Responsibilities: Create Facebook and Twitter content.
Improve website SEO through the addition of keywords, descriptions,
posting of content and indexing with major search engines. Monitor
website for broken links and outdated content. Document website
analytics. Scan online environment for current trends. Send out
communications via electronic newsletters.
