Nebraska Public Media (formerly NET) is looking for a student (sophomore to graduate student) with experience and career interest in data analytics/science to join our team. As a student analyst, you will work on the completion of reports and several media research projects including survey analysis. You will gain experience in collecting, managing data, and creating insights from multiple data sources: web, social media, audience ratings, and marketing databases.
Qualifications/Duties:
> Efficient time/project management skills and attention to detail.
> Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft suite of tools including Word, Powerpoint, and advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel.
> Enthusiasm for using data to generate insights to meet organizational goals and objectives.
> Experience with data analytics software and or programming languages a plus (R, Python, SAS, SPSS, and/or Tableau).
> Familiarity working with web, social media, audience ratings, survey, and/or marketing data a plus.
