Parkhaus is looking to bring on an intern with strong, evolving knowledge and understanding of the current social media landscape, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. We are looking to revive our social media and use it as a main marketing tool to reach the local college student population. The intern hired for this position will need strong creative thinking skills in order to integrate into our team, who are very excited to work with an intern hoping to gain business social media management experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
> Manages Parkhaus’ social media accounts and posts content regularly, both onsite and from home
> Brainstorms appropriate and appealing campaign ideas
> Creates unique content promoting Parkhaus’ amenities, leasing opportunities and specials, and friendly tenant atmosphere
> Monitors various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok
> Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns
> Understands the overall concept of Parkhaus, including the brand, tenants, company goals, and all other aspects of the housing complex
> Engages with tenants to create content
> Provides suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social media platforms and internal processes
> Creates monthly performance reports for management
> Potential to earn a monetary bonus for each lease executed/generated from an event developed and promoted from social media
Qualifications:
> Student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
> Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
> Prior social media management experience preferred, but not required
> Highly organized
> Ability to project, prioritize, and meet deadlines
> Advanced knowledge of popular social media platforms and trends
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills
> Available at least 5-7 hours per week, with ability to work and post from home, with occasional in-person office meetings and weekend availability, starting at the beginning of August
