Stransky Park is part of the Irvingdale Neighborhood Association who's vollunteers hold free musical events in the park gazebo
Position is to help promote the Fall Stransky Park concert Oct.8th, then resume planning in the Spring for the Summer series.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· knowledgeable, creative, and able to use multiple marketing tactics
· strong writing and communication skills knowledge of graphic arts a plus
· experience using social media and public relations to create better awareness of the concert series
TASKS:
· enhance Stransky Park MySpace & Facebook sites
· increase concert attendance through better media attention
· write and distribute press releases to Lincoln media
· place concert announcements and schedule with local media and entertainment calendars
· work with Stransky Park Concert Organizers to generate new marketing and promotional ideas
· develop notification e-mail list
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
· would be willing to take the lead in creating a sponsorship plan for the 2011 season
· would be a local music fan
· would be able to attend Oct. 8th show then some of weekly shows in the Summer
