Development Coordinator - Nebraska Public Media (Lincoln, NE)

The Development Coordinator will assist in organizing, implementing and supporting annual giving/membership (with strong emphasis on fundraising support, donor development, and data analysis) along with cultivation and major giving event activities. Oversee PBS Passport program. Create and send fundraising emails. Prepare materials for fundraising and cultivation events and oversee logistics. Conduct research related to fundraising activities at other PBS/NPR stations and nonprofits to create new means to identify new annual giving opportunities. Maintains database records related to special event activities, prospects, and annual giving operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus one (1) year experience in business, marketing, communications, nonprofit development, or related field; equivalent education/experience will be considered. Experience with special events coordination and specialized database systems essential. Experience must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral/written communications, customer service, organizational, attention to detail and fundraising skills. General understanding of data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have experience in non-profit work environment. Successful special events, fundraising, development, donor research, or comparable experience strongly preferred. Marketing skills and knowledge of Allegiance or equivalent non-profit database software preferred.
