On September 14th, members of ASUN Student Government will be hosting the first annual TEDxUNL event in the Sheldon Auditorium. We are looking to both record the event for the publication on the TEDTalks website as well as to facilitate a real-time live stream of the event. We are a completely student run group, and are hoping offer opportunities for other students to get involved. We noticed that you are the faculty adviser for the College of Journalism and Mass Communications Student Advisory Board, and have a breadth of experience with the College of Journalism and Mass Communications, so we thought we'd start our search with you!
Essentially, we are looking for a crew that could set up two cameras for the recording and one camera for the livestream. We would also need the audio recorded to go with the video.
Whatever gets recorded could be featured on TED's worldwide site, so there may be some extra incentive there. Additionally, we could potentially offer a reasonable wage for the services (details would need to be discussed once the project gets assigned/contracted).
