WOWT needs a strong producer to help plan and co-produce our Daybreak newscasts. Our 4:30am – 7am show is consistently number 1. We prefer 2 years of television news experience that includes actual hands-on production of a regularly scheduled newscast.
The successful candidate will demonstrate solid news judgment. We need someone who is an organized, self-starter with strong communication and leadership skills. We are looking for a person with the ability to develop a solid grasp of modern newscast production, including story segmenting, extensive use of graphics, aggressive live coverage, virtual sets, and digital technology. In addition someone who knows the importance of and will contribute to our social media platforms and website.

Familiarity ENPS, Edius, and TVU technology is a plus but not required. We prefer a candidate with a four-year journalism degree.
