2013 will be an exciting year for the NHC as we introduce a new identity as an organization while also celebrating 40 years of serving Nebraska with the humanities. One way we will be increasing our visibility is through creation of this Communications Manager staff position. This position will be critical for effectively and strategically communicating our activities throughout the state and developing positive community relations across programming, fundraising, and advocacy. Besides the listed essential writing/editing/communications skills and a passion for the humanities, we will be looking for good people skills, self-initiative, and ideally a knack for graphic design. The salary range begins at $30,000 and commensurate with experience.
