One year of newsroom experience or equivalent preferred.
Requirements:
The Assistant Producer will be taught how to write, edit, and produce a morning newscast. This person will also be trained to assist with our mid-morning talk show. A successful candidate will generate story ideas, be a self-starter, manage their time and handle pressure situations calmly.
Additional Information:
Hours are Monday-Friday 4am-1pm. Pappas Telecasting maintains a drug free workplace and requires pre-employment testing. Candidate should have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
