The Cox Classic Internship program is offering four internships:
• Facilities Intern
• Marketing Intern
• Operations Intern
• Event management
DATES:
The week of May 13th -August 27, 2013 (Flexible upon studenfs schedule)
HOURS REQUIRED:
Full time (9AM to 5PM) starting the week of May13, 2013 to August 27, 2013 (hours will adjust as tournament nears)
HOW TO APPLY:
Send a resume, including a cover letter, outlining why you want to work with the Cox Classic and what qualities/skills/attributes make you a suitable candidate for the position. Be sure to indicate which internship you are applying for. If you have questions contact the tournament office at 402-399-1800.
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
The deadline to submit your application for the internship program is February 15th. All applicants will receive acknowledgement of our receipt of their application within two weeks.
INTERVIEW PROCESS:
The Cox Classic staff will conduct interviews at the tournament office. Phone interviews will be conducted if needed. The Cox Classic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Junior or senior-level college student majoring in Sport Management, Public Relations, Event Management, Marketing, Business or a related field. Be detail-oriented and able to organize multiple projects. Must be literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, INDesign, Photoshop and Access. Work well under pressure. Strong communication skills and professionalism is a must. Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced team environment. Must have a valid driver's license.
