SUMMARY
This part-time position provides hands-on experience with professional video production equipment including training, taping and editing opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Camera operator for studio and remote sports productions.
- Audio operator for studio and remote sports productions.
- Tape operator for studio and remote sports productions.
- Both non-linear and linear editing skills along with segment producing skills.
- ENG camera operation and in field sports productions.
- Encode, upload and schedule programming for broadcast on the public access channels.
- Train, supervise and provide technical support for public access producers.
- Encode and upload programming to our local on demand channel.
- May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A high school education or equivalent.
- Undergraduate course work in video production a plus.
- Computer skills are a plus.
- Candidates should possess strong video production skills, the ability to work well with others and a desire to learn.
- Prior experience using Final Cut Pro is a plus.
- Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
- Candidate must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
