Video Content Creation and Media Specialist - CITY CAMPUS

The primary responsibility of this position will be to produce quality and accurate videos. The candidate chosen for this position will have an eye for interesting elements and the creative ability to craft raw footage into a polished final product. You will organize, facilitate, edit and post product videos to pages and social media. You must be able to work well in a group on projects for maximum efficiency. The Nebraska Transportation Center has flexible working hours, with the expectation that a regular set schedule will be maintained with the opportunity to work extra hours on projects when the need arises. Qualifications: • Junior/ Senior status in Video, Film production or Broadcasting • Excellent problem solver, creative thinker and a self-starter • Positive attitude, willing to work in a team • Proficient with YouTube, and Vimeo uploading standards • Experience with DSLR cameras as well as a Digital HD Video Camera Recorder • Ability to set up appropriate lighting, backgrounds and microphones. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Final Cut Pro and Aftereffects • Reliable with strong writing and oral interview skills preferred • Highly Proficient with video and audio editing Salary Pending upon year in school and experience; 20-30 hours/week.
