Husker Motorsports
Husker Motorsports

company:
Husker Motorsports is the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Formula SAE Team. Formula SAE is a division of SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) International Collegiate Design Series. The objective is to design, build, and accomplish business tasks surrounding the creation of a one-person, open-wheeled racecar.

Formula SAE holds eight events worldwide in locations ranging from Australia, Michigan to our hometown of Lincoln, NE. The competition has numerous events, both static and dynamic, which measure the performance of the car and the team. The competition gives students a unique opportunity to apply classroom knowledge into real-world scenarios.

Husker Motorsports is thus divided into subdivisions to facilitate a smooth process of operation to build the car. These subdivisions are: Suspension Team, Brakes Team, Powertrain Team, Chasis Team, Administration Team and Business Team.

The Business Team is specifically looking for students who are interested in web design, marketing, finance etc. The Business Team is in charge of acquiring funds for building the car (finding sponsors), marketing to potential sponsors and new students (social media, posters newsletters, etc.), maintaining our website (fsae.huskermotorsports.com) and tracking transactions by the team and from sponsors, as well as many other tasks.

The 2013 Formula SAE West Competition here in Lincoln, NE is fast approaching, and we need your help!
