Experience:
A Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter in this company is expected to be able to shoot, write, edit, run live truck, and post internet stories. A successful candidate will meet daily news and sports deadlines and have a personality the community recognizes and trusts. If you want to know local sports, and not just narrate national highlights, we need you! This position includes anchoring, producing, and reporting the weekend sports, plus reporting, shooting, writing, and editing stories for the evening newscasts three days a week.
Requirements:
Candidate should have at least one year of TV news reporting experience. Resume/DVD should demonstrate ability to anchor, report, write, shoot, edit, produce, and report live.
Additional Information:
Hours are Friday-Tuesday 2pm-11pm.
Pappas Telecasting maintains a drug free workplace and requires pre-employment testing. Candidate should have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
