Responsible for selecting which stories are pushed out through social and breaking news alerts, and smart execution. Works with night editor and copy desk closely. Also builds galleries, polls, exports stories, writes search-engine-optimized headlines. Selects stories and writes the daily Top 5 newsletter. Analyzes traffic and audience satisfaction data and responds with story play and assigning new content.
