JOB TITLE: Social Media Community Manager Intern (Development/Marketing/Communications Non-Paid Internship)
REPORTS TO: Regional Development Director
FUNCTION: Working collaboratively with staff and volunteer leadership, create, manage and evaluate a social media campaign that supports the Lincoln Friends of Planned Parenthood and Give To Lincoln Day.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Cross train and shadow areas of Planned Parenthood of the Heartland (PPH) to develop strong organizational knowledge.
2. Provide support to the Development Department, and Marketing /Communications Department These duties may include, but are not limited to:
a. Assemble and/or create visuals, messaging and video that represents the mission and work of PPH
b. Input and track data
c. Develop social media strategies that enables a Friends of PPH to reach their goals
d. Activities geared towards connecting users via Newsletters Facebook, Twitter
e. Create an editorial calendar plan to support G2LD/FF
f. Photographing subjects and events
g. Measure, analyze and report activity and results
h. Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, video/photography and campaign planning work is preferred. If a current student, a senior level Journalism, communications or marketing major is preferred.
