Euromoney Institutional Investor (http://www.Euromoneyplc.com ) an international publishing and events business with offices throughout the world, hosts a training program in its New York office. Candidates are presented with an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in one of the disciplines on offer for this program: Journalism, Commercial Development, Conference Programming, Research, Sales or Technology Project Management. The Training Program will provide a hands-on experience to learn and make a contribution to the business and will include both informal and structured training, coursework, timely feedback and ongoing evaluations.
The primary goal of the program is to provide a representative work experience to determine if there is a permanent fit between the individual and the organization. But even if there isn’t, candidates will be well prepped and trained in a variety of business disciplines for whatever they decide to pursue next.
The program is six-months in duration during which time participants will be compensated at a rate of $3,000 per month. After being placed within one of our businesses, in addition to a direct supervisor who will provide training, assignments and feedback, candidates will be assigned a mentor-- someone to turn to with questions or advice on any issue. In addition, our Human Resources department will be available from the start to act as a central source of information/feedback. Our CFO and the head of Institutional Investor Intelligence Editorial Training are integral to the program and will also be available throughout. Applicants must have graduated by June 2013 and must be able to furnish required work authorization to work in the United States.
