
The Vision Maker Media Project Assistant is a part-time (up to 20 hours per week) position for a full or part-time enrolled college student. Position will report to the Assistant Director.
Duties: Work with staff in the creation and editing of video and/or audio content for presentations, websites, social media pages, and creative services.
Skills Required: Proficient knowledge of Final Cut Pro and/or Avid, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
Skills Preferred: Knowledge of html and content management system (CMS) web-based experience. Vision Maker Media will train the selected candidate on our Drupal-based CMS sites. Previous experience with Sound Forge and iMovie, as well as being enrolled in a Journalism and Mass Communications program is also desirable.
Qualified applicants will have strong written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to be organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and meet assigned deadlines.
