Jacht Club is an elective class and the new student "ad lab" in the College of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNL.

Jacht Club is excited to incorporate new skills and fresh minds into the group and is seeking the top students from the college to be part of this hands-on opportunity. The time commitment is steep, but the benefits for the individual and the college are invaluable.

� March 31-April 1-Interviews
� April 4-Notice of acceptance

o 3 samples of work in the area of your skills (writing, design, digital, video, media)

� Knowledgeable and intrigued about current industry trends and interesting brands
� Humble and realistic about personal skills and capabilities
� Willing to put in extra outside hours in order to complete responsibilities on a project
� Opinionated but adaptable-"What if" statements over "I think"
� Understands that ideas are owned by the group, not the individual
� Positive and realistic nature-no room for pessimism or complaining
