ACES
The American Copy Editing Society is a professional organization working toward the advancement of copy editors in newspapers, magazines, websites and other journalistic endeavors. Friends of KRNU
Friends of KRNU was created to support, promote and augment the programming, mission and activities of 90.3 KRNU FM and KRNU2, the UNL FM radio station operated by students, faculty and staff in the CoJMC. Activities include promotion of station programming, events and activities to increase listenership and strengthen support from the university community. National Broadcasting Society
NBS is designed to enhance the development of college and university students involved in telecomunications, broadcasting, cable and other electronic media. Multicultural Students in Media
The Multicultural Students in Media is meant for everyone — no matter what ethnicity, no matter what major in the College of Journalism. The purpose of the club is to develop multicultural relationships with people of similar and varying backgrounds. They meet every other week in the J school. Nebraska Students Against Modern-Day Slavery was created for students by students. The mission is to inform others about the tragedy of human trafficking. Students wants Nebraska Students and civil society to be aware of how human trafficking occurs, why it occurs and the measures that can be taken to prevent it.
