Working with UNP publicists, direct mail coordinator, special sales manager, and marketing manager, the marketing student worker will be expected to engage in on- and offline research, create and manage email and mail lists, write letters, and process in-house marketing materials as necessary. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, understands and engages with social media, including Pinterest, has excellent written communication skills, is familiar with standard online and social-media research techniques, has an interest in books and book publishing, and is able to work on multiple projects concurrently. Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office software and basic Adobe software is required. Sophomores and juniors seeking degrees in business, marketing, public relations, or journalism are encouraged to apply.
